Sean Strickland earned respect from many of his fellow fighters following another impressive performance at UFC 328.
The former middleweight champion reclaimed his belt by defeating the previously unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev in a hard-fought bout at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday night. The contest went the distance and was ultimately decided by split decision, with two of the three judges scoring in favor of Strickland. UFC CEO Dana White confirmed during the post-fight press conference that he also believed Strickland deserved the win.
