Barcelona star Pedri has dedicated the La Liga title to his German coach, Hansi Flick, after the club secured its 29th league championship.
The Catalan giants clinched the trophy following a dominant 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid in the 35th round of the season.
With the win, Barcelona moved to 91 points, opening a commanding 14-point lead over Real Madrid with just three matches remaining.
“The victory here in this historic Clásico was exactly what we wanted, so we delivered a great performance,” Pedri told Mundo Deportivo.
“We will celebrate the title and this Clásico win with family, friends, and fans. This doesn’t happen every day,” he added.
Pedri emphasized the emotional significance of the triumph: “We wanted to seal the title in the Clásico for Flick, especially after he lost his father.”
