A tragic incident in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, where three children fell into water near the Jingwei Fenming scenic spot in Gaoling District, has drawn widespread attention. According to an earlier statement from the Chonghuang Subdistrict Office in Gaoling, two of the children were confirmed to have drowned, while search efforts continued for the third.
On May 12, the Gaoling Veterans Rescue Team, which participated in the search, confirmed that the third child was recovered from the Weihe River in the Lintong section on the afternoon of May 11 and sadly did not survive. The child’s relatives also confirmed the discovery to Jimu News, expressing their grief.
